About Orange Donkey

What.

Orange Donkey is a public journal for friends, family and associates of Ben Holt (aka, Ben Hancock). Donkey contributors are interested in growing their understanding and involvement in topics such as business, entrepreneurship, productivity, personal growth and development, and education.
Orange Donkey is written by people who are setting goals and want support and accountability in achieving them. We're all friends here and only want to see each other succeed.

Why.

Keeping a journal to track progress towards goals massively increases your chances of success. Making the journal public further increases that likelihood. It's all about a synergy of ideas, motivation, and accountability. It's easy to make excuses in secret.

Who.

Currently, membership to Orange Donkey is open only to invitees or by special request. If you'd like to join, just send an email to orangedonkeyblog_at_gmailcom.

How.

Orange Donkey participants should try to post as often as is reasonable. Sometimes posting everyday will be good. Other times there might not be much to report for a week or more at a time.
We look out for each other, though - don't post for a while and you're sure to get poked.

Orange Donkey?

Orange is the color that stands out from the rest. You can't miss orange. It's vibrant and vivacious, daring and dashing. It's a progenitor of change and a harbinger of creation.
Donkeys are tough, intelligent, and independent. They do things their own way and in their own time. They carry the load and get the job done. They work tirelessly when needed but know when to quit. They also look cute in cartoon form:
Not a cow. Notice the ears.

(Okay... Actually, "orange" and "donkey" were just two words randomly picked during a spontaneous brainstorming session during a roadtrip. Put together, they sounded like a good blog title. I added meaning to them to help tie it all together. So there.)
